When the owner of HID Projectors approached Gruntware about their idea of selling custom High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights online, it was obvious that they came to the right place. Upon initial consultation it was determined that a simple scripted shopping cart (OSCommerce) was not going to handle their needs. Their products (especially the headlights) have a dozen different offerings and configurations at varying prices. It was necessary to provide the customer with an easy to use interface that will successfully capture their custom headlight needs and provide them with an accurate price. This was accomplished utlizing a custom JQuery application on the front end in the browser while also providing a lot of dynamic content from a MySQL database hosted on the Gruntware server.

Along with this custom headlight creation tool, there is a dynamic shopping cart application that allows for other more standard product offerings all in a simple elegant design that is cross browser compatible and quickly loading.

All of the cart contents are sent to a basic PayPal interface for processing.

A custom private administrator console was created to allow the client the opportunity to manage product offerings, images, content and prices. Thus allowing them rapid response to the needs of their market.
